Anania & Gillespie Win at OHL Gold Cup

A number of Sudbury Wolves prospects had an outstanding tournament at the OHL Gold Cup in Kitchener this past weekend.  Eight Wolves prospects participated in the four-day showcase including Gold Cup Winners Andre Anania and Ryan Gillespie who helps Team GTHL Blue win 5-4 to overtake the GTHL Red in the final game.

Team Alliance took home the bronze, which featured Ryan Burke and Landon McCallum. Ryan led the team in scoring in the showcase with 7 points in 4 games, 5 of which came against OMHA White where he scored two goals and added 3 assists. Landon Mccallum notched 4 points and also had a stand out weekend.

Chase Stillman led the way for Team NOHA with 5 points in 4 games, however had to leave the final game early with an injury.

Alex Pineau was one of the best players for Team HNO on the backend.

Ethan Larmand was tied in first in team scoring for Team OMHA White with 5 points in four games.

Fans will get their chance to see these players in action this upcoming weekend when the Wolves host their Orientation Camp on May 11th and 12th.  More details on the camp will be release this week.
