Baker Commits to Wolves

The Sudbury Wolves are pleased to announce that their 4th round selection in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection, DAWSON BAKER, has made a commitment to the Sudbury Wolves Organization by signing a Standard Player Agreement with the club.

Baker, 16, played 34 games for the Quinte Red Devils Minor Midgets last season where he scored 17 goals and added 20 assists.

“We are very excited to announce the signing of Dawson,” noted Sudbury Wolves General Manager Barclay Branch. “He is a special young player whose defining characteristics are his skill, work ethic, and character, and we are thrilled that he will be providing these elements to our hockey club for years to come.”

“I am very proud to be committed to the Sudbury Wolves Organization,” said Baker. “I am looking forward to playing with the Wolves and being a part of a new era.”

The Baltimore, Ontario native will get his first taste of OHL action this afternoon as the Wolves host the North Bay Battalion at the Sudbury Arena in pre-season play. Game time is 2:00pm. Tickets are $10 for all ages and are available at the Sudbury Arena Box Office or online at greatersudbury.ca/tickets.
