McConville Commits to Wolves

The Sudbury Wolves are pleased to announce that right wing Blake McConville has made a commitment to the Hockey Club. The LaSalle, Ontario native was selected by the Wolves in the 5th round of the 2016 OHL Priority Selection.

“Blake brings tremendous speed down the right wing to our offence,” said Rob Papineau, Sudbury Wolves VP of Hockey Operations and General Manager. “He is a complete athlete and we feel this is an excellent signing for our hockey club.”

The 6’2, 205lbs forward played last season for the Essex 73’s where he notched 27 points in 31 games.

Blake is expected to get his first taste of OHL action on Tuesday when the Wolves open-up the pre-season at home against the Mississauga Steelheads. Game time is 7:05pm. Tickets are available at the Sudbury Arena Box Office or online at greatersudbury.ca/tickets.
