McGrath Picks Up Win in U18 Pre Tournament Action & Is Recognized on Central Scouting List

Sudbury Wolves goaltender Jake McGrath picked up a 5-4 win in pre tournament action in Slovakia against Team Switzerland on Monday this week.

Team Canada finished 1-1 in pre-tournament action with the 2017 IIHF U18 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP set to get underway on Thursday at 9:30am when Canada takes on Team Latvia. Fans can follow along HERE

It’s been a busy week for McGrath who also moved up four spots in NHL Central Scouting’s final rankings which were released Tuesday. McGrath now sits 19th among North American goaltenders with the NHL Draft set to take place June 23-24 in Chicago, Illinois.
