Plenty of Wolves Representation at Hats for Heroes

There was plenty of Sudbury Wolves representation at the 6th annual Hats for Heroes golf tournament today at the Idlewylde Golf and Country Club. The Hats for Heroes Golf Tournament is organized by former Wolves Captain DEREK MACKENZIE in support of Northern Ontario Families of Children with Cancer (NOFCC).

Included among the participants where Sudbury Wolves Owner/Governor Tim Edwards, President Blaine Smith and Head Coach David Matsos. Former Sudbury Wolves play-by-play announcer and current Toronto Maple Leafs play-by-play announcer Joe Bowen as well as former players Zack Stortini, Derek MacKenzie, Marcus Foligno, and Randy Carlisle also participated in the tournament.

In 2015 this event  raised $51,000.00 for families in Northern Ontario who need NOFCC support. In the last 5 years Derek has helped raise $135,000 for the NOFCC.
