(Sudbury, ON) The Sudbury Wolves have chosen to affiliate with both the French River Rapids and the Rayside Balfour Canadians of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL) for the 2017-2018 season.
“The NOJHL has been an excellent development league for the OHL and the Sudbury Wolves”, said Wolves General Manager and Vice-President of Hockey operations Rob Papineau. “Both teams have strong ownership and are very much committed to player development and supporting the Sudbury Wolves. We are fortunate to have two great options close to Sudbury. These teams and the NOJHL have proven to be a great place for players to continue to develop their game.” Papineau added
Already the value of regional affiliation has proved valuable for all parties as injuries and players have had opportunities to step in quickly and make impactful contributions.
