(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Sudbury Wolves announce that they have completed a trade with the Niagara IceDogs. The Wolves acquire Windsor’s 4th round draft selection in 2022 and conditionally Niagara’s 5th round draft selection in 2023 in exchange for goaltender Jake McGrath.

“We would like to wish Jake all the best in Niagara and with his future hockey career,” said Sudbury Wolves VP Hockey Operations and General Manager Rob Papineau. “We wish to thank him for all of his contributions to the team and the Greater Sudbury community over the past three seasons.”

Jake played 104 regular season and 6 playoff games for the Wolves over his three seasons with the club.

The Wolves return to home ice this Friday night when they host the Mississauga Steelheads at 7:05pm. Tickets are available online at sudburywolves.com or greatersudbury.ca/tickets.
