Wolves Draft Well in Inaugural U-18 Midget Selection

The Sudbury Wolves are pleased to report that the inaugural 2017 U-18 Midget Selection was a successful evening for the organization as they welcomed 5 new prospects and their families to the Wolves Hockey Program.  Wolves Hockey is determined to build on the successful 2016-17 season in the off season and are looking forward to the next on ice showcase next weekend to start that evaluation.

“This was a new situation for all teams in the league which allows late bloomers to be identified and given an opportunity with member clubs in the OHL,” said Rob Papineau, VP of Hockey Operations. “Overall we are pleased with the results as we pick up 2 great local talents within the complement of 5 players that have been added to our roster. Last weekend’s draftees in addition to those we selected last night will be showcased next weekend in our orientation camp April 22nd and 23rd.”

A complete run down of the team’s Priority Selections can be found below.

The Wolves rookie orientation camp will take place on the weekend of April 22nd and 23rd at the Countryside Arena.  Details will be posted on in the coming week
