Wolves Get Set to Host Attack & IceDogs in Thanksgiving Double Header Action

The Sudbury Wolves will host the Owen Sound Attack and Niagara IceDogs in Thanksgiving double header action this weekend at the Sudbury Arena. They will kick things off on Friday night against the Attack at 7pm before hitting home ice once again to host the IceDogs at 2pm in a Sunday afternoon matinee.

Friday’s game will mark the return for Wolves 2015-16 leading goal scorer Dmitry Sokolov is scheduled to return to the Wolves’ line-up following off-season shoulder surgery.

The Attack are led up front by second year Finnish import player, Petrus Palmu, who leads the team in scoring with 6 points in 4 games. Friday’s game will mark the return of former Wolf, Matt Schmalz as he makes his first appearance at the Sudbury Arena since he was traded to the Attack earlier this summer.

Friday’s game is sponsored by 92.7 Rock. One lucky winner will win an entry into their Toys for Boys contest.
On Sunday at 2pm, the Wolves will host their divisional rivals, the Niagara IceDogs. Sunday’s game will mark the return of former Wolf Austin Clapham. The IceDogs are led by Chicago Blackhawks prospect Graham and Tampa Bay prospect Christopher Paquette.

Sunday’s game is Family Day! Kids 12 and under accompanied by an adult will receive admission for only $10. Lucky fans will be selected in participate in the Turkey Bowl during the second intermissions for the chance to win great prizes!
