Wolves Host Battalion Friday as They Look to Set Franchise Record
(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Sudbury Wolves will be looking to set a franchise record this Friday night as they return to action following their Christmas Break to host their Northern rivals, the North Bay Battalion at 7:05pm. The Wolves tied the record for most wins in a row at home on December 14th with a win over the Kitchener Rangers and will now look to set a new mark of 13.
The North Bay Battalion sit 9th in the Eastern Conference, just one-point shy of a playoff position. The Wolves will need to keep a close eye on Battalion Captain Justin Brazeau who currently leads the league in points with 63 and sits second in the league in goals with 34. The Battalion roster also features Sudbury locals Daniel Walker and Brad Chenier.

Following Friday’s home game, the Wolves will head on the road for a six-game road stretch including two games this weekend against Northern rivals. Saturday, the Wolves will head to Sault Ste. Marie for 7:07pm match-up with the Greyhounds as they compete for the Bell Challenge Cup. The Wolves will then wrap up the weekend on the road in North Bay on Monday at 1:00pm for a New Year’s Eve matinee showdown.
