After coming off a stellar 4-0 win over the Peterborough Petes Sunday, the Sudbury Wolves will host the Central Division leading Barrie Colts this Friday night in their final home game of the 2017-18 season. Game time is 7:05pm.
Friday night marks the final return of Dmitry Sokolov to the Nickel City. Recently named the OHL Player of the Week, Sokolov leads the league in goals scored with 48 and sits 6th in points with 90. Overage forward Aaron Luchuk leads the league in points with 110 through 65 games played and sits just behind Sokolov in goals with 47.
Friday’s game is sponsored by the Cambrian College First Generation Advising Program who will be on hand with the annual Sock toss. The first 1000 fans will be given a pair of socks to toss into the Cambrian College Vehicle during the intermission with the lucky winner receiving a 55-inch colour tv. All socks will be donated to the Samaritan Centre. Don’t miss the pregame ceremonies as the Wolves will honour graduating overage players, Kyle Rhodes and Doug Blaisdell as well as former Wolf Dmitry Sokolov.

Saturday, the Wolves will hit the road to complete the home and home series with the Barrie Colts before heading to Oshawa on Sunday to wrap up the season against the Generals. Saturday’s game is set for 7:30pm while Sunday’s game will get under way 6:05pm.
