Wolves Host Successful Orientation Camp

The Sudbury Wolves welcomed 19 prospects and their families to Sudbury this past weekend for the 2016 Orientation Camp. The weekend included a full OHL practice, on and off-ice fitness testing, and a scrimmage. Among the prospects participating included 13 players from the 2016 OHL Priority Selection, 3 players from the 2015 OHL Priority Selection and 3 local invites.

The Wolves wrapped up the camp Sunday morning with a 4 on 4 scrimmage at Countryside Arena. Team Blue took the victory by a score of 8-4. Ryan O’Bonsawin opened the scoring halfway through the first period for Team White before Team Blue came back with 2 goals from Francesco Reda and Jacob Roach. Edward Yan and Kier Cumming each scored two goals in the contest. Other goal scorers included: Adrian Bilic, Christian Gaudreau, Blake McConville, Nolan Hutcheson and Dawson Baker. The prospects rounded out the scrimmage with a shootout.

The Sudbury Wolves wish to thank all of the prospects and their families for attending the camp this weekend as well as the number of fans who came out to support them.
