Wolves Make Roster Moves

The Sudbury Wolves announced Monday that they have made two changes to their roster after the season opening weekend.

Forward Dawson Baker has been reassigned to Trenton Golden Hawks of the OJHL. Baker was selected by the Wolves in the 4th round of the 2016 OHL Priority Selection by the Wolves and has had an outstanding start to his OHL career. This move will allow the 16-year-old to further develop his game with increased ice time with the Hawks. The Wolves intend to use Dawson on a call-up basis throughout the season.

The Sudbury Wolves also announced today they released defenceman Brandon Bastasin who has returned home and is awaiting further assignment from the club.

The Sudbury Wolves now have 22 players remaining with the Club as they prepare for two home games this upcoming weekend September 30 and October 2nd. On Friday night, the Wolves will host the Barrie Colts at 7:00pm at the Sudbury Arena. On Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm, the Kitchener Rangers will make their only appearance this season.
