Wolves’ fans will have their first chance to see 1st round selection Owen Lalonde and all of the Wolves’ newly-drafted players this weekend when the Wolves’ host their annual ORIENTATION CAMP at the Countryside arena. The action begins Saturday afternoon at 1:00pm with a full practice followed by 4-on-4 scrimmages on Sunday morning starting at 9:30am.
In addition to the arrival of the 13 newly-drafted players, the Wolves will be inviting-back a few prospects from last year’s draft including: Defencemen Kyle Kozielski and Adrian Bilic and forward Kier Cumming. Three local prospects will also be participating in the Orientation Camp including: forwards Glenn Therrien and Jacob Burton and defenceman Ryan O’Bonsawin. The three local invitees enjoyed successful seasons with the Wolves’ affiliate: SUDBURY NICKEL CAPITAL WOLVES MAJOR MIDGETS.
There is no admission fee to the Orientation Camp and complimentary line-ups will be provided. The Wolves’ Orientation Camp weekend is hosted by the LEXINGTON HOTEL on Brady Street. All Wolves’ fans are welcome to attend the weekend camp. Wolves’ staff will be on hand to welcome back season ticket holders and information will be available for fans wishing to reserve their seat for all 34 of the Wolves’ home games next season.
