Wolves Take Practice into Community
(Greater Sudbury, ON) On Wednesday October 10th, the Sudbury Wolves in partnership with Valley East Minor Hockey Association will take their regular weekday training into the community as they will practice at Centennial Arena from 5:00 to 7:00pm. This practice is open to the public and the Wolves welcome fans to come out and see your Sudbury Wolves in your own backyard.
A structured practice led by Wolves Head Coach Cory Stillman will be scheduled from 5pm to 6:15pm. Following this time, fans are invited to lace up their skates and join the team for a public skate until 7pm. Howler will also be on hand for photos and autographs. Come out and meet your 2018-19 Sudbury Wolves.
“As an organization we have always wanted to get our players out into our community rinks to make it easy for our minor hockey players to watch and meet their heroes close to home,” said Wolves VP Marketing and Development, Andrew Dale. “The coaches loved the idea, despite the logistical challenges, of bringing practice and the party including Howler, the wolf, some music and other activities, to the kids. We have two planned this fall and have room for one more in February.”
The Wolves head on the road this weekend for a Thanksgiving road trip, before returning home for a rematch against the Barrie Colts on Friday October 12th at 7:05pm. Seats are available at greatersudbury.ca/tickets or sudburywolves.com and in person at the Sudbury Arena Box Office.
