Wolves to Host Ugly Holiday Sweater Game in Support of Infant Food Bank
The Sudbury Wolves are excited to announce in tradition of the Holiday spirit, they will be hosting their first ever Ugly Holiday Sweater game on New Year’s Eve Afternoon, Sunday December 31st in support of the Infant Food Bank and Pregnancy Care Centre. Game time this special matinee matchup is 2:00pm against the Guelph Storm. The Sudbury Wolves will wear specialty themed Ugly Holiday Sweater jerseys that will be auctioned off online following the game and select jersey’s during the game.
“Last season, three players approached the marketing team to hold a fundraiser for the Infant Food Bank at one of our games. We loved this initiative and our relationship with this charity has continued to grow,” said Andrew Dale, VP Marketing and Development. “Assistant Captain Reagan O’Grady even took it one step further and went to visit the volunteers at the Infant Food Bank to see how it all worked. We are believe strongly in supporting those most vulnerable in our community as well as the volunteers that give so much love.”
Fans are encouraged to wear their Ugliest Holiday Sweaters to this game for the chance to win prizes. All proceeds from the Jersey Auctions will be donated to the Infant Food Bank. The Infant Food Bank will also be on hand to collect donations before the game.
