Wolves Return to Russia

The Sudbury Wolves will return to Omsk this August to defend their gold medal at the Junior Club World Cup. Last summer, the Wolves travelled to Omsk, Russia to represent Canada where they defeated the USHL’s Waterloo Black Hawks 2-0 in the final game of the tournament to take home the gold medal.

 22 players will travel to Siberia to participate along with 10 members of the Wolves’ management and staff, including two coaches and two trainers, to participate in the seven-day tournament. The team will depart from Toronto on August 21st and return on September 1st, before opening up their exhibition schedule on September 6th at home. Fans will be able to follow their progress at
