FAQs Relating to OHL 2019/20 Season

The Sudbury Wolves support the Canadian Hockey League and Ontario Hockey League’s decision to cancel the remainder of the 2019-20 regular season and 2020 playoffs to try to help eliminate the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus). We are committed to the health and safety of our players, officials, fans, staff and the general public and will continue to monitor the situation in conjunction with the OHL and CHL.

We thank our fans for their patience and support during this unprecedented time.

Please see below for answers to some frequently asked questions regarding the announcement. Answers are being updated as information comes available. Please continue to check back for updates.

I have tickets for an upcoming game. What should I do?

As of March 23rd, single game ticket owners for the games scheduled for March 17th and March 20th as well as the first two home playoff games are eligible for refunds. Fans who purchased single game tickets for these two home games through the Sudbury Arena Box Office with a credit card or online at //greatersudbury.ca/tickets will be automatically refunded and will not need to come into the box office. If you purchased by credit card, you will see this return on your card in a minimum of 14 business days. Fans who purchased their tickets with debit or cash can visit the Sudbury Arena Box Office when it reopens in order to receive their refunds, you must present your ticket to the game(s) to receive the refund. However, please note, the Sudbury Arena Box Office remains closed at this time until further notice.  These refunds will be available once the Box Office reopens. We will provide an update once we receive further information from the federal, provincial, municipal governments and public health. 

We ask that season ticket holders please remain patient at this time as we are working to provide a plan to you in the coming weeks.

Is the team store still open?

As of March 17th, the Official Team Shop located at the Sudbury Arena will now be closed until further notice, however items are still available for sale online at swse.ca.

Is the Sudbury Arena Box Office still open?

As of March 17th, the Sudbury Arena Box Office is now closed until further notice. Please check back for more information as it becomes available.

Is the season cancelled?

On March 18th, the OHL made the announcement to conclude the 2019-20 regular season. As of March 23rd, the OHL and CHL have cancelled the 2020 OHL Playoffs and Memorial Cup.  For more information, visit: https://ontariohockeyleague.com/ontario-hockey-league-announces-cancellation-of-2020-ohl-playoffs

Am I still able to renew my season tickets for next season?

The Sudbury Wolves Office located in the main office of the arena is now closed until further notice. Those wishing to renew/purchase their season seats for the 2020/21 season can do so online at  swse.ca as well as by email at office@sudburywolves.com or by phone at 705-675-3941 ext. 2013. The early renewal deadline remains as May 1st at this time.
