Lemaire Commits to Wolves

(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Sudbury Wolves are pleased to announce that 16-year-old goaltender Jonathan Lemaire has made a commitment to the hockey club.

The Gloucester, ON native was selected by the Wolves in the 5th Round of the 2018 OHL Priority Selection. In 24 games with the Kemptville 73’s Midget AA team this season, the 6’6”, 180lbs goaltender has a Goals Against Average of 2.27 and a save percentage of 0.907.

“The Sudbury Wolves are excited to have Johnny join our organization,” said VP Hockey Operations and General Manager, Rob Papineau. “He is having a great season in Kemptville and was our highest selected goalie in last year’s draft.”

Jonathan is expected to travel with the team to Barrie for tonight’s match-up with the Colts.

The Wolves are back in action at home this Friday night when they host the Mississauga Steelheads at 7:05pm. Great seats are still available at sudburywolves.com or greatersudbury.ca/tickets.
