McGrath Invited to Hockey Canada Program of Excellence Goaltending Camp

Sudbury Wolves goaltender Jake McGrath is one of seven U-20 level goaltenders who has been invited to Hockey Canada’s annual Program of Excellence goaltending camp which is set to take place June 9th -11th at the Markin MacPhail Centre at WinSport’s Canada Olympic Park in Calgary.

The weekend-long camp brings together some of the country’s top goaltending talent with elite-level instructors from across North America. The camp is the initial evaluation stage for summer development and selection camps in the U-17, U-18 and U-20 levels.

Jake is one of only 3 goalies from the OHL to participate in the U20 level of the camp. He is entering his second full season with the Wolves. Last season the Mississauga native backstopped the Wolves in 45 games, achieving a record of 17-18-6. McGrath is also eligible for the 2017 NHL Entry Draft set to take place at the end of the month.
