Wolves Acquire Valentini from Knights

The Sudbury Wolves have acquired 18-year-old forward RYAN VALENTINI from the London Knights in exchange for a 2nd Round Draft Pick in 2019.

“The Sudbury Wolves organization is very excited to announce the acquisition of Ryan Valentini,” said General Manager Barclay Branch. “Ryan is a talented forward who will play a significant role within our team presently as well as being an important part of our club moving forward.”

The 6’, 172lbs forward has split time between the St. Thomas Stars of the GOJHL and the London Knights this season. In 8 games with the Knights this season, Valentini notched three assists. In 14 games with the St. Thomas Star, the Mississauga native has 13 goals and 13 assists for 26 points.

Valentini will join his new teammates this week in practice and will be in the line-up this Friday night to face his former team, the London Knights for the one and only time this season at 7:00PM. This Friday is also the Wolves’ annual Teddy Bear Toss sponsored by the Travelodge Hotel Sudbury.
