Wolves Assign Players

(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Sudbury Wolves have re-assigned five players ahead of this Saturday’s pre-season game in Peterborough and now sit with 26 on the roster.

Centre Hayden Simpson has been reassigned to the Stouffville Spirit of the OJHL.

Goaltender Andrew Gaulton and defenceman Conor Walton, both 16, have been re-assigned to the Wolves’s NOJHL affiliate, the Espanola Paper Kings and will make their season debuts Friday night in Espanola.

Defencemen Braydon Bruce (St. Andrew’s College) and Owen Protz (Ottawa Jr Sens – CCHL) have also both been re-assigned and will also be available on an affiliate basis this season.

The Wolves roster now stands with 16 forwards, 8 defenceman and 2 goaltenders. For the full roster, click HERE.

The Wolves will hit home ice for the pre-season on Tuesday September 20th vs Barrie and Friday September 23rd vs Sault Ste. Marie. Both games are set for a 7:05pm puck drop. Tickets for the pre-season are on-sale now at the Sudbury Arena Box Office and online at The Wolves will open the 50th anniversary season on Friday September 30th with tickets going on-sale on Friday September 9th at 10am.
