Wolves Host Double Header with Greyhounds and Petes

(GREATER SUDBURY, ON) The Sudbury Wolves return to home ice for a doubleheader week starting Wednesday night when the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds come to town. The Wolves will then hit the ice once again on Friday night when the Peterborough Petes make a trip to Sudbury for the final time this season. Both games are scheduled for 7:05pm at the Sudbury Community Arena.FB Post(March.17)

The PACK are back on home ice after a 3-game weekend. Last week, the Wolves started in the Soo with a dominant 9-2 victory that saw leading points scorer David Goyette notch 4 points in the form of 1 goal and 3 assists, while linemate Quentin Musty had 2 goals and 3 points on the night. Friday night Kocha Delic’s two goal performance wasn’t enough to get the Wolves by the visiting Midwest Division leading Knights as they fell 5-4 in a close game. Capping off the weekend, the Wolves were in Barrie to play the Colts Saturday night where the Wolves lost another tight game. Kocha Delic and linemate David Goyette each put up 2 points in Saturday’s loss.

Wednesday, the Soo Greyhounds are in Sudbury for the Wolves Hockey Mom night. Come out to show your support to the amazing mothers that make our game happen. Prior to the game, the Wolves will honour the player and billet moms with a pre-game ceremony. CAA will be on hand and fans will have the chance to win great prizes. Visit their table in the lower lobby for more information.

Friday night is St. Patrick’s Day! Fans can join your Wolves at the Sudbury Community Arena and bring the luck of the Irish this St. Patrick’s Day. Friday night is sponsored by the Ontario Nurses Association. Visit their table in the lower lobby for the chance to win a prize from ONA.

On Sunday, the Wolves hit the road to take on the North Bay Battalion in North Bay. Game time is 2:00pm. Fans can follow the Wolves on the road by tuning into the road games with the live play-by-play on CKLU 96.7 and mixlr.com/sudburywolves. Fans can also watch the games on OHL Live at https://watch.chl.ca/.
