(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Sudbury Wolves wrap up their four-game home stand this Friday when they host the defending Memorial Cup Champions, the Windsor Spitfires at 7:05pm. The Wolves are coming off a solid week of hockey where they picked up 4 points with wins over the SSM Greyhounds on Wednesday and the Kingston Frontenacs Saturday night. Last Friday the Wolves played a strong 60 minute hockey game but came up short against the high flying Sarnia Sting who have won 11 in a row, are ranked 2nd in the CHL and remain 12-1 this season.
The Wolves young line up will take what they learned from last week’s hockey and bank it for the balance of the season as they continue to grow as a team under the coaching direction of Cory Stillman, Jordan Smith and Darryl Moxam. After a difficult start to the season for the young Wolves club, the has been playing .500 hockey in October and improving their record at home.
The Spitfires roster features two NHL prospects including New York Rangers property Sean Day and Vancouver Canucks goaltending standout Michael DiPietro. Overage forward Aaron Luchuk leads the Spitfires offensively this season with 19 points in 12 games.

Following Friday’s game, the Wolves will take to the road for two games to wrap up the weekend with stops in St. Catharine’s on Saturday against the Niagara IceDogs at 7:00pm and Sunday in Erie against the Otters at 5:00pm.
