The Sudbury Wolves started and ended their night with a celebration. The 2019-20 Wolves team was honoured for their successful season by the raising of their Central Division Champions banner.

The 2021-22 Pack got this season off to a hot start by defeating the Peterborough Petes 6-3 in the team’s first game in 579 days.

Team leaders Jack Thompson and Liam Ross showed why they were selected as captains, combining for 3 goals and 2 assists and were praised for their overall performance by Coach Duncanson postgame. Mitchell Weeks turned aside 30 shots to pick up his first win of the new campaign. First overall pick Quentin Musty announced his presence in his OHL debut by picking up 2 helpers, including a beautiful end to end rush to set up Thompson for his powerplay marker.

The Wolves are back in action tomorrow, Saturday October 9th on the road against the Soo Greyhounds.
